Take What’s Left Over And Step Out!!

Take What’s Left Over And Step Out!!

Too many of us are held back from doing what we are called to do because we don’t think we have what it takes. We either feel we don’t have the finance, the background or the intelligence, in the right position, the right colour skin....and the list goes on.  We also want what we don’t have.
If only we would focus on what we do have we would achieve more for ourselves and others in the Body of Christ.
See, God uses the things that other people throw away. He uses those who others reject. He uses the leftovers for great things, for example people like David, Joseph not to mention Moses.
When I was a child, many times we did not have much food.  Mummy would head to the cupboards that we had already searched and found nothing but amazingly she would pull together bits of this and bits of that and by the time she had finished, she had made a delicious meal for the family.  We would go to bed with a smile and a full stomach.  Jesus fed over 5000 people with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread and still had 12 baskets of leftovers.
Moses thought he did not have what it took to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt but God used Moses with what he had (his staff) (Exodus 7) and promised to be with him.  When Moses got to the Red Sea, the Lord used the staff in his hands again to part the sea (exodus 14:16).
God concentrated on what those great men in the Bible had and not their short comings or what they did not have.
My business started without the resource or experience required and in an economic climate that was not ideal but God said to me “step out, I’m with you”.
Wherever you are today and whatever your challenge is, you need to seek God and step out; He will use what you have and make a way.  When Abraham went to the top of the mountain to sacrifice his son Isaac, the boy asked him “where is the sacrifice?”  Abraham replied... “The Lord will provide” and so said, so done (Genesis 22:12)
We serve a mighty God......STEP OUT!!!

It Was Given For A Reason

It Was Given For A Reason
All dreams are conceived in the mind and purposed in the flesh.  Desire for it first and then work towards materialising it.  Desire starts of as a thought before it can come to fruition.
If you can dream it you can see it, if you can see it you can make it become a part of you and if you can make it become a part of you it can become a reality. Believe it can be so, speak as if it’s so, so that it can be so because God said so (Romans 4:17).  Your blessings are not just what you can physically see now, it’s what your mind can conceive, what you can see in the future.  What does success look like to you? Your blessings / success is not what you can see, it’s what you can imagine
The most significant things I have achieved started out as a desire in my mind before they were birth in the physical.  The blessing starts in the mind and what your mind can conceive you can achieve.

When I started out in the business I am in, I did not have the materials nor the finances but I had a vision, I had a dream and I believed in that vision and dream so I owned it and believed that I can achieve it.  God placed the desire and vision in me because it was His will for me.  God makes no mistakes and when He gives us a vision, a dream it’s because He wants us to believe it and believe on Him for it to materialise.  He impregnates us with a dream and will birth that dream but we have to believe in the dream and have faith in Him

NOT A NUMBERS GAME

Not a Numbers Game
Saving souls and bringing Gods word to the people is not about how many people are in attendance. It’s not a numbers game, it’s about who you’re serving; who you’re feeding; who you’re reaching.  It’s about reaching that one lost person. Jesus came back for “doubting Thomas” because he did not believe, he was lost (John 20:19-31). The Bible tells us about the lady who had 10 pieces of silver and lost 1 piece; she continually swept and searched until she found it; it was lost and she had to reclaim it. (Luke 15:8-10)
Being able to teach and preach the Word of God is not about quantity it’s about quality. It’s about healing the sick and rescuing the lost.  It’s not about gaining an audience for worldly acclaim.  Saving souls is about bringing light into the darkness and if that means reaching just one person as opposed to the audience of a mega church then God will be glorified (James 5:20).  There’s nothing wrong with mega churches but within that setting people get lost, they get left behind and are not able to find their way.  The question is who are you serving?  Jesus came to serve and save lives. He washed the feet of the disciples, serving them not waiting to be served by them.  As Kingdom people, people of God walking in the Word we are called to serve and not be served; to reveal Gods glory not to be glorified.  Jesus had very large audiences most of the time but He also served in more intimate settings, He healed, raised the dead, gave sight to the blind and found the lost but He also requested that the news of this be kept private. He did not crave an audience. His business was just to spread the Good News and bring Salvation to the people. He was not interested in “numbers”, he was interested in serving.

GOD: Your GP

GOD : Your GP

If we’re not well, feeling ill, it’s natural for us to try and get better on our own but then when our attempts fail to revive our health we go to the GP. We don’t send someone else on our behalf, no one can go on our behalf because they don’t know exactly what’s wrong with us, what we are feeling because only we can do that; only we know exactly what’s wrong and by telling the GP what the problem is, by handing our illness over to him he then provides the remedy. He takes our problem and makes it his and then he is able to provide us with a cure.

That’s exactly how God operates.  He allows us to try by our own strength but then if we turn to Him he will take our problem and make it His. He will provide His strength for us to overcome the problem.  There is nothing that’s too much for Him to do; to reverse; to heal.  There is no path to wide or crooked for Him to straighten.  (Proverbs 3:6  -  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight)  (Galatians 3:3  -  Are you so foolish?  After being with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?)
